Our Story
Raised as the children of Middle Eastern immigrants, my wife and I were fortunate to grow up surrounded by the richness of traditional remedies.
Any time my wife and I had a bruise or scar our mothers would make a middle eastern remedy called "Tochmemorg and Zarchubeh". Which basically is a mixture of egg yolks with turmeric powder, a thick paste that when left on the skin for long enough reduces the scarring and inflammation.
Initially wary of its slimy texture, we couldn't deny the transformative effects it had on our skin.
As we navigated through the challenges of adulthood and post-acne hyperpigmentation and scarring, we returned
to our roots, to rediscover and test the potency of our mother's remedy. We were amazed by the results.
The turmeric brightened our skin and reduced our dark spots. Determined to make a difference with our heritage, we embarked on a 2.5-year journey to fuse our traditional remedy with modern dermatological science.
Our vision took shape – a holistic approach to skincare that seamlessly merges the potency of natural root extracts with the effectiveness of scientifically-proven active ingredients, all guided by
seasoned dermatologists.
The culmination of this endeavor is our Turmeric Ginseng Brightening Moisturizer. The name “Zelaze” means duality, we bring together science and nature to solve real skincare issues.
